how to get to port to port 2023

There is a bike lane that runs from downtown central Lisbon all the way to Arroz Estúdios.

Cycle on!

There are several buses to Arroz Estúdios. The most popular is the 728, which runs along the waterfront all the way from Belem, via Santos, Cais do Sodre, and Praça do Comércio. (among other stops).

The closest train station to Arroz Estúdios is Santa Apolónia. This is a 20-minute walk from the venue.

There is no parking at Port to Port 2023. If you are planning on driving into Lisbon, we recommend finding parking elsewhere and taking public transport to Arroz Estúdios.

Opening Times

No, although feel free to pour yourself a tawny tipple. The name Port to Port comes from the collaboration of artists from Cork, Ireland, and Lisbon, Portugal, both port cities.

These are the cities where Garden Collective, the organisers of Port to Port 2023, started and continue their collective.

At this year’s festival, there will be a range of acts from Cork, Lisbon and beyond.

We’re curating a mixed lineup of musicians from around the world, including everything from trad, to hip-hop, to electronic.

Yes! There will be workshops at Port to Port 2023. Watch out for announcements on our social channels (below) and check out the lineup above!

We decided to run Port to Port as an alternative St Patrick’s day event in Lisbon. It is a celebration of Irish culture around the world, without the foam Guinness hats.

What’s more Port to Port 2023 is a St Patrick’s Day celebration in Portugal — that is to say, we are celebrating how different cultures come together to create art, music, poetry and more.
