FAQs

No, although feel free to pour yourself a tawny tipple. The name Port to Port comes from the collaboration of artists from Cork, Ireland, and Lisbon, Portugal, both port cities.

These are the cities where Garden Collective, the organisers of Port to Port 2023, started and continue their collective.

At this year’s festival, there will be a range of acts from Cork, Lisbon and beyond.

We’re curating a mixed lineup of musicians from around the world, including everything from trad, to hip-hop, to electronic.

Yes! There will be workshops at Port to Port 2023. Watch out for announcements on our social channels (below) and check out the lineup above!

We decided to run Port to Port as an alternative St Patrick’s day event in Lisbon. It is a celebration of Irish culture around the world, without the foam Guinness hats.

What’s more Port to Port 2023 is a St Patrick’s Day celebration in Portugal — that is to say, we are celebrating how different cultures come together to create art, music, poetry and more.
